Monstrous Media Group has been notified of urgent infrastructure maintenance affecting portions of our hosted environment. Data center security and engineering teams are applying critical Linux kernel security updates in response to CVE-2026-74580 and CVE-2026-99999.
Maintenance window
The maintenance window begins Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time and continues through Monday, October 26, at 6:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
What to expect
Each affected host system will be rebooted once during the maintenance window. Services hosted within the affected environment may experience approximately 30 to 60 minutes of downtime. In rare cases, recovery could take longer. Data center engineers will actively monitor the maintenance and restore any systems that do not return as expected.
Because these security updates are urgent, the maintenance cannot be rescheduled, deferred or declined. A specific reboot time cannot be provided for individual services. No action is required from MMG clients for the infrastructure work itself.
How to prepare
• Plan for a brief interruption. Safely pause or queue critical automated jobs, scheduled tasks, imports, exports and database operations that could be affected by a reboot.
• Verify services afterward. Managed services are configured to restore automatically, but we recommend confirming that important websites, applications, integrations and scheduled processes are operating normally after the maintenance window.
Our response
MMG will monitor the affected environment throughout the maintenance period and verify critical client-facing services afterward. Protecting client infrastructure and responding quickly to security risks remain our top priorities.
Clients who observe an issue after the maintenance window should contact the MMG support team with the affected website or service and a description of the problem.
