The Need
Chameleon MD, a virtual urgent care provider offering fast online treatment from licensed emergency and urgent care professionals, needed a complete digital foundation to power its new patient experience. Since the platform was launching for the first time, the team required a fully built workflow that could guide users through condition selection, appointment scheduling, account creation, and questionnaire completion without confusion or unnecessary steps.
The Solution
MMG designed and built the full digital patient journey for Chameleon MD, creating a streamlined and predictable experience from the moment a user clicks “Get Care Now.” The workflow was structured around an appointment-first model, allowing patients to confirm availability before completing any intake steps. This ensured users only saw relevant questionnaires and removed unnecessary friction from the process.
We worked closely with the clinical team to define where account creation should occur, how protected forms should be accessed, and how to organize questionnaire pages so patients could easily understand which form applied to their symptoms. Interface language, button clarity, and form sequencing were improved to make next steps intuitive, especially on mobile devices.
Throughout the build, the digital experience was aligned with the clean, modern aesthetic of chameleonhc.com, emphasizing a smooth path from symptom to care and preparing the system to scale with future membership and employer offerings.
